Zines for the Future Event

Join Elin Angharad from the Welsh Zine Library for an interactive and creative zine making workshop.
Make your own zine exploring positive visions of the future in response to our environmental and social challenges
All welcome - The event is open to those that are new to zines and have no prior experience in zine making as well as those who have made zines before and would like to learn more or contribute their experience. It will take place in the Hwb Porthi Aber (5 Great Darkgate Street), which is a wheelchair accessible venue.
This event will be delivered bilingually, through the medium of Welsh and English.
*This workshop is funded and provided free of charge

All materials will be provided, however, if you would like to bring any old magazines to cut up and use and/or your own art materials, you are welcome to.

*This event is funded by Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050. Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 is part of the ARFOR programme. With the emigration of families and young people being recognised as one of the main reasons for the decline in the number of Welsh speakers in these strongholds. Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050’s aim is to persuade young people and families who are at risk of leaving, or have already left, that having a bright future is possible, with a good job within an exciting field in their native community. The Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 project is jointly administered by Menter Môn and Mentera.
