Hire the Hub

Thank you for your interest in hiring the Hub! We’re excited to offer our versatile ground-floor space, perfect for community gatherings, meetings, workshops, or events. The Hub is a welcoming and flexible venue situated on the Aberystwyth High Street that can meet a range of needs. Here’s how you can hire our space:

What’s Included

  • Ground-floor space: A large, open area ideal for hosting events or activities, with a refreshment serving counter for food and drinks.

  • Kitchen: Available for hire either with the main space or separately, equipped to support food preparation for your event.

You can hire either the ground-floor space, the kitchen, or both, depending on your requirements.

Booking Process

  1. Submit an Inquiry: Please complete our Hire Enquiry Form to provide details about your event, including preferred date, time, and any specific requirements.

  2. Confirm Your Booking: Once availability is confirmed, we’ll send you a booking agreement to secure your slot.

  3. Payment: We can only accept payment online. You’ll receive an invoice once your booking is confirmed.

Important Information

  • Setup and Cleanup: We kindly ask that you ensure the space is left clean and tidy after your booking. This helps us keep the Hub a welcoming space for everyone.

  • Additional Hours: If you need more than 6 hours, let us know in advance, and we can discuss extended hire options.

  • Bookings are subject to availability, and we will respond as soon as possible with confirmation and payment instructions.

Our Prices

Our prices are designed to be accessible and affordable, while also ensuring the safe management of the space and its activities. The prices will be reviewed by a public co-design event team in early 2026, this means they are subject to feedback and may change. A month's notice will be provided for price changes, and prices will be reviewed annually or in the case of significant changes.  If these rates are beyond your budget, please reach out to us, and we will do our best to accommodate community groups and projects.

Feedback

We'd appreciate your honest feedback about using the space and any reflections or ideas for improvements you can share with us. Your feedback will be used to monitor the success of the facilities on offer and make improvements. If you have chosen not to hire or use the space, we would really appreciate your feedback too.

Calculations and Rationale

The calculations for the hire rates are based on a full cost recovery, this means this is the actual cost of the use of the space divided by how many days there are in a year. This means these prices have not been inflated and do not make a profit for our organisation, instead they enable us to cover the basic costs of our space and its maintenance. However, for commercial pricing we have added 15% of the cost to enable us to make a small profit here on commercial clients. As we are a not for profit organisation, this 15% contribution enables us to invest in our organisation's mission areas. Please contact us for more information or to discuss your budget.
