Ground Floor

Hiring the ground floor hub space includes the downstairs community area, the serving counter area, and the kitchen, this requires an induction session to the space. As this is a food safe business, when hiring this space there is a responsibility for the hiree to carry out opening and closing checks, to have carried out a risk assessment, and to have a designated food safe practitioner on the team (someone with food safety L2 qualification). These will be discussed with you at an induction. 

Day Rate (8 hours) - £213 (commercial rate) / £149 (charitable rate)

Half Day (4 hours) - £106 (commercial rate) / £75 (charitable rate)

Hourly Rate - £27 (commercial rate) / £19 (charitable rate)


Kitchen

Hiring the kitchen requires a free induction session. As this is a food safe business, when hiring this space there is a responsibility for the hiree to carry out opening and closing checks, to have carried out a risk assessment, and to have a designated food safe practitioner on the team (someone with food safety L2 qualification). These will be discussed with you at an induction. Please bring all cooking ingredients, oil, herbs and spices etc with you, this is not included in the hire. The use of the dehydrator is not included in the kitchen hire.

Open Space

Hiring the hub for meetings requires an induction session. When hiring this space there is a responsibility for the hiree to carry out opening and closing checks, and to have carried out a risk assessment. These will be discussed with you at an induction. If you would like to use our refreshments counter shown below, please bring your own tea, milk and coffee, this is not provided. You might need someone with a food safety certificate to supervise, this depends on whether you are serving tea and coffee to the public or not.

Dehydrator

Utilising the dehydrator requires the hiring of the kitchen, and an induction session. As this is a food safe business, when hiring the kitchen there is a responsibility for the hiree to carry out opening and closing checks, to have carried out a risk assessment, and to have a designated food safe practitioner on the team (someone with food safety L2 qualification). These will be discussed with you at an induction.

*A trial dehydration of 12 shelves can be at 30p an hour for a first time trial.

 
 

Riso

Utilising the risograph requires an induction session, and this is charged at £35. When you attend a session, we will take a meter reading of the masters and copies, and measure these at the end of the session to understand how much your session has cost you. We can show you this meter so you can keep a tab on how much you are spending.
